Shipping Information

As of March 31st, 2023, the U.S. Postal Service has suspended shipping to the following regions:

Afghanistan, Libya, Timor-Leste, Belarus, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Bhutan, Russia, Yemen, Brunei, South Sudan, Laos, and Syria. Unless otherwise noted, service suspensions to a particular country do not affect delivery of military and diplomatic mail.

Update: As of March 31st, 2023, the U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International destined to:

Australia, Great Britain, Korea, Sweden, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Switzerland, China, Israel, Singapore, Thailand, France, Japan, and Spain.

Due to the suspension of Ukrposhta air and office services, we must regretfully halt shipping to Ukraine until further notice.

We ship orders in plain ivory envelopes that are made of 100% recycled plastic. Please do not cut the package open, or you may damage your new socks!

Sock Insurance

Please consider purchasing Insurance at checkout to insure that if your package goes missing in transit or is damaged we can reship the items or refund your payment! Without insurance we cannot guarantee refunds or replacements.

Insurance cost is $7 for International orders. 

If you are located outside the US, please bear in mind International delivery times can vary greatly, and are apt to delays due to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please allow 60 business days (approximately 12 weeks) for delivery in all cases. If you have not received your order at that point, please email us at to report your package missing. All International requests for reimbursement for lost parcels MUST be made within 90 days of last tracking information update. 

Please bear in mind that we can only reship or refund your order one time under this insurance policy. If your replacement package is also lost in transit, we will be unable to send a third shipment. 

Package insurance is not applicable for any Return-To-Sender shipments. 


International Shipping

We ship internationally to most countries 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) via Asendia.

Due to delivery issues, we have removed the following countries from our check-out page*:
Brazil, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Guatemala, Mexico, South Africa, Ukraine and Russia.
*To make arrangements for shipping to these countries, please contact us -- note that we may be unable to accommodate these requests due to increased order volume November - January.

Customs Fees & Import Taxes: Your country may collect dues upon delivery. Currently, orders shipped to the UK are pre-collectively taxed 20% VAT tax. Orders shipped to Norway are pre-collectively taxed 25% VAT tax. These taxes are not included in our shipping fees. If you do not live in Norway or the UK, please contact your local post office or Customs department for more information on your country's import taxes. 

Please allow up to 60 business days (approximately 12 weeks) for delivery, as there are many factors which can delay international mail, chief among them the Customs service of the destination country.

Flat-Rate International: 9-22 days (not including Customs processing). Frequency of tracking updates varies by country. Orders shipped to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden or Switzerland will receive frequent tracking updates from the time the order leaves the US to the time of delivery. Parcels shipping to all other countries will receive more limited tracking, and may not extend beyond the US sorting facility.

USPS International Express: 5-7 business days (not including Customs processing). Tracking and insurance included. Frequency of tracking updates varies by country.

Remember, estimated shipping estimates do not account for the time it takes for your package to get through Customs. It can sometimes take weeks for Customs to release a package. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time we send your tracking number to you until the tracking system updates and starts tracking your package. We cannot guarantee timely arrivals of international orders; order internationally at your own risk. We cannot control whether the national post of the destination country requires a signature for delivery. International delivery times can vary greatly. Please allow 60 business days (approximately 12 weeks) for delivery in all cases. 

Once the package gets to your country, Customs will analyze it, determine if there are duties due, and then pass it on to your national postal service.

We are legally required to include a Customs form which includes the value of the merchandise being mailed. It is against company policy to declare purchases as gifts or alter the declared value for a customer. We ship discreetly in plain packages, but we must declare our originating address for Customs clearance. The return address shows our company name as Sock Dreams, but his can be changed to our alternative company name at customer request by emailing us at No sensitive credit card information appears on our invoices.
