Great for layering

I can wear these either on my calves or my thighs (at mid-thigh, my leg has diameter 16 1/2"). I've worn them above crew socks or above knee socks. I live in a place where the temperature can swing 30 or even 40 degrees over the course of a day, so layering is key. These have become an important part of my wardrobe.
