they really are cozy

I had talked myself out of trying these socks for years because I avoid synthetic fibers. Well, I finally caved and bought a pair. They are marshmallow soft! The colors are vivid! So warm and cozy, you can even wear them as slipper socks! The Socks Formerly Known As Dreamer Acrylic Slouch Socks have earned a spot in my sock drawer.

Lovely

Very nice basic sock, just hefty enough to be soft and comfortable.

Don't actually love these

The fabric feels kinda gross and they slouch right on down below my heel and gather underfoot, which makes them very bad for walking, let alone more demanding activities. They've been languishing in the drawer after a few unpleasant wearing experiences. Too bad; for $12 I wanted to like them!

Absolutely love these!

They are SO soft, so fluffy, and so warm! They're slouchy, so don't expect them to stay up at your knees, but that's fine by me. The seams aren't noticeable to me at all. If you run them through the washer and dryer on warm/hot, they do get a bunch of lint on the inside you have to pull out, and eventually the fluff will wear out of the heels, but it's super worth it to me and if I cared that much I could be more careful with them. These are my number one sock for when I've got cold feet, which is probably 75% of the year if we're being honest. Note - they used to be listed as "acrylic slouch socks," it took me a little while to find them because they don't come up if you search for that anymore
