About Our Free Shipping

Since Sock Dreams was founded we have offered an option for free domestic shipping, in order to make our products more affordable to a wider range of people. However, "free" shipping is not free to us, and as a small business it has become an increasingly large burden for us to bear. Currently shipping is one of our company's largest expenses -- on average we pay $6.10 for each order shipped!

With increased shipping expenses, we're having to really examine how we can continue to offer this service. This is why we're introducing a new set of voluntary shipping rates. In addition to the usual free flat rate option, US customers will now be able to select one of our optional rates to help us offset our shipping expenses, starting at $1.
