The Alaskan - Merino Wool Thigh High

These socks are firm but still relatively elastic. The toe box has an excellent fit and the broad cuff is comfortable. Sock glue and garters both work well to keep the socks up, but clip garters will not seal around the material. The color is vibrant and rich, without fading when washed, and the fit relaxes a little over time. They allow very little airflow, which is great on a cold day.

These socks are WARM. They're absolutely perfect for a wine tour on a windy day, a brisk November morning, or a cold corporate office. But at room temperature they can run quite hot. I would recommend adjusting your outfit to compensate.

I had purchased the merino wool crew socks a while back and when I saw that these were on sale I knew I had to get them; turns out they were even better than I had imagined! They're warm, cozy, thick, and yet don't get stuffy even when it isn't cold. Pretty warm, but not suffocating. They're pretty good for chilling in bed or on the couch and I'll be able to wear them with my boots once winter comes around. Plan to get more in the future!

I only wearing skirts for my attire, not kidding 😂 so I started buying sock from these lovely people who create thigh highs for those who don’t have tiny tiny legs and man or man!! These are beautiful! I got the mustard color and I’m in love!!! They are warm, vibrant, soft and the perfect thickness where I don’t need to use sock glue to hold in the place, and they hardly fall down at all!!!!

These are the best thigh highs I've ever owned. They stay up beautifully and are soft and squishy. They are THICK, soooo warm, great with boots. We need more colors, y'all.

Perfect for wearing with a kilt. Perfect weight and fit and just long enough to fold a perfect cuff. If they came in other colors (red, navy, light blue, hunter green, black, white) I would probably buy them all.
